WEEK 5 & WEEK 6

See you again guys. This is for week 5 and week 6 because I learnt about this topic until week 6. I will tell about Information System (IS) that I have learnt. Actually, I have learnt a little bit about IS last week, but I want to compile it together for this week. So, it will be more easier for you to look up for the information. Information System is a application of computer based IT used to facilitate planning, control, coordination and decision making in an organization. Below I list all type of IS :

How IS used? 

Top Manager - ESS - STRATEGIC - to describe plan & strategic

Middle Manager - DSS & MIS - TACTICAL - to support goals and objectives

Low Level - TPS - OPERATIONAL - support front line manager

What I still remember, there have 6 components of Computer Base Information System (CBIS).

 

After I know all types of these information, my leacturer move on to their characteristic. It's difficult for me to remember their charactheristic because a lot of information in there. Then she teach us there have Other Information System. 

Guys, with all of these information, I think you all be ablr to :

* Identify the types and concept of Information System

* Elaborate on the contribution of  IS in organization or in

   various  field.

*Provide examples of several major types of information systems from student knowledge with business organizations in the real world

WEEK 4 !

Assalamualaikum, now we are in week 4. I am really happy in this week because all the presentation already finished and I learnt new topic this week. For this week, we move on to topic 2. If last week we learnt about Information Management, this week I learnt about Information Technology (IT). Based on what my lecturer teach, IT can divide into 2 which is IT Architecture and IT Infrastructure.
IT Architecture = is a plan of the information in the organisation.
IT Infrastructure =

• IT component : computer hardware, software and communications technologies.
• IT services : services provided for people.
• IT Personel : who are work with this IT or IS

Do you know we use IT in our daily life? This is the examples that I want to show to you all

 

How about in Education?

WEEK 3 !

Hye guys, now we are already in week 3. Time goes very quickly right? In this week, we are needed to present the task that are given by Miss Nisha last week. My group is the first group and I felt nervours that time because after finish my group presentation, suddently she ask some question to me and I don't know how to answer it. Alhamdulillah, I can manage it finally. Last week we learnt about the processing of the computer and this week we not learn new topic because want finish all the group presentation. Guys, don't worry, next week perhaps you all can get new information about what I will learn next week, see ya guys. WEEK 4 will come :)
