TOPIC TWO !

In this topic, we study about the sources to get the information. The information come from many sources that is classify as primary, secondary and tertiary. We must memorize to know what is primary, secondary and tertiary and it getting hard to me. It easy but life as a boy that always keep it as small matter make it hard. I realized and hope I can change it.

Next, learnt about library system or familiar with the name OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) that is the system in the library that can help us to find the book, borrow and know our detail in library. We also learnt about DDC and LCC that is the code at the book in library.


we still learnt about searching tools and we focus on library searching tools. We use OPAC if we are in library but it different if we just want to borrow it online because we doesn't have time to go to library. In AIU, we have http://www.italic.aiu.edu.my/ as library online system to borrow and checkout our book from library. It make our live easy. That is the advantages of technology.

We also learnt about the search engines in internet to find our information. There are many of search engines and the famous one is google. Never argue that internet can make our life easiest.
 

This topic also, we learnt about online database. My lecturer told us that online database have two type, which are simple and advanced. Online Database is also available through the library portal. Online database have subject or topic, keyword and full text. An online database is a database accessible from a network, including from the Internet.
